Online Assistant

Position Summary

  • Acts as the social / digital expert forthe brand in the affiliate

  • Develops the social / digital part ofthe marketing plan, and drives execution

  • Manages the brand social communities,posts content, runs social media campaigns

Job Description

Acts as the social / digital expert for thebrand in the affiliate , liaising with Affiliate Social /Digital manager, Online and Data Analytics

  • Keeps up-to-date on latest social /digital best practices and tips

  • Proposes disruptive ideas on how toincrease the brand’s visibility online

Develops thesocial / digital part of the marketing plan, and drives execution

  • Derives the 360° marketing plan into asocial / digital marketing calendar

  • In charge of social / digital marketingbudget allocation, update and monitoring

  • Works closely with the Online team andexternal advertising agency to ensure synchronized consumer communication

Works with key external partners (Facebook, Google), buildingpartnerships, in coordination with the Digital Commerce and Marketing team

Posts social media content and runs social media campaigns

  • Collects content; expresses social mediaspecific needs

  • Posts content (or programs posting);updates posting sequence in an agile way, in coordination with the Marketingand Online teams

  • Buys social media promotionaladvertising (directly or through advertising agency)

Answers questions and comments from community members in a timely manner

Acts as the social medialistener for the brand

  • Watches out for negative posting (blogs;e-retail); posts appropriate answers

  • Regularly shares qualitative consumerfeedback summaries with Marketing teams

Performs quantitative analysison brand’s social / digital media performance

Drives relationship with micro-influencers (amateur bloggers), runsaffiliation program, organizes events

When also in charge of Influencer management (ex PR)

  • Builds and enhances ongoingrelationships with key Influencers: top bloggers, journalists

  • Keeps them informed of new productdevelopments (press releases, sampling, presentations)

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant product marketing, online/e-commerce related experience, preferably in the cosmetics/fragrance business (in a similar or related industry)

  • Team-lead experience

  • Digital Advertising (Paid Media) knowledge; SEO/SEM, Performance/ ReMarketing, Paid Social, Email marketing

  • E-commerce knowledge; Basic KPIs (conversion, traffic, bounce and abandon rates)

  • Strong analytical skills; the ability to identify critical concerns and prioritize; problem-solving abilities

  • Creative/innovative thinking

  • The ability to handle a multitude of projects and issues at one time

  • Initiative

  • Excellent team player and interpersonal skills; the ability to interact with all levels within an organization

  • Self-motivation; High energy level; the ability to work independently

  • An interest in learning and the ability to integrate information to identify the implications of macro trends for the business.

  • An open-mindedness. Actively elicits different points of view and understands different perspectives
